Here is a quick picture tutorial that will show you how to crochet a puff stitch (puff). This type of stitch is a great way to add texture and dimension to projects by creating a three-dimensional shape.
Quick tip: Make sure the yarn you use does not split easily as this type of yarn will be more difficult to puff.

How to crochet a puff stitch:
- Yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop.
- Repeat this pattern for a total of 5 times, until there are 11 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over and pull through all the loops.
*Note: some patterns also finish the stitch with a chain one to close, so be sure to consult your patterns to see how they are written.
