Crisp fall mornings are back and it is finally time to get cozy in your favourite knitted sweater. As the temperature has been dropping, I’ve recently pulled out my sweater collection from the back of my wardrobe and it has been so nice to finally be reunited after this long hot summer. I’m positively ready for walks on fallen leaves, rainy mornings, and any apple orchard.
I don’t tend to wear a lot of colours, in fact, I mainly wear shades of black. However, I do love a print (typically on a black background) as well as different shapes and textures. This may be surprising, but I don’t really enjoy shopping for clothes. Therefore, I tend to buy quality clothes that will last, from brands that I know fit me well. If you are like me, be sure to browse through secondhand sites to find your favourite brand pre-loved but often in great condition and at a fraction of the original retail price. In the end, you will save money and, as a bonus, help the environment.
I have had most of these for years and only a couple were more recent purchases. Among the latter, I have recently found a spooky knitted ghost sweater that I cannot wait to wear come October.
Until next time, I’m wishing you cool weather and lots of cozy wear.
