Materials:

  • 3mm hook 
  • Light (3) acrylic yarn in light brown, dark brown, white, red, green, and black.
  • Stuffing material
  • Scissors
  • Needle
  • Stitch marker

Finished size:

Approx. 11cm tall by 13cm (including handle).

Mug:

Round 1: In light brown, 6 sc in a magic circle. (6)

Round 2: Inc around. (12)

Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (18)

Round 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (24)

Round 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (30)

Round 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (36)

Round 7: (5 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (42)

Round 8: (6 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (48)

Round 9: (7 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (54)

Rounds 10-16: Sc around. (54)

Round 17: (7 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (48)

Round 18: (6 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (42)

Round 19: (5 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (36)

Round 20: In the FLO, sc around. (36). Cut off. 

Coffee:

Round 1: In dark brown, 6 sc in a magic circle. (6)

Round 2: Inc around. (12)

Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (18)

Rounds 2-18: Sc around. (6) Cut off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Eyes (Make two):

In black, ch 3, sc in the second ch from the hook, 3 sc in the next stitch, continuing on the other side of the ch, sc in the next stitch, slip stitch in the first sc to create an oval. Cut off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Antlers (Make Two):

In dark brown, ch 6, sl st in the second ch from the hook and in the next st, ch 4, sl st in the second ch from the hook and in the next two sts, ch 3, sl st in the second ch from the hook and in the next st, sl st in the next st (back on the main ch) and in the last three sts. Cut off leaving a tail for sewing.

Ears (Make Two):

Round 1: In light brown, 6 sc in a magic circle. (6)

Round 2: Inc around. (12) Fold the ear in half an cut yarn leaving a tail for sewing.

Whipped Cream:

Round 1: In white, 6 sc in a magic circle. (6)

Round 2: Inc around. (12)

Round 3: Ch 1, [dc, ch 1]x3 in every st around, sl st in the first dc. (36 dc)

Tie off leaving a tail for sewing. Roll and scrunch the shape between your hands to form the whipped cream.

To assemble: 

-Put stuffing into the mug and stitch the coffee inside the mug in the back loops created in round 20.

-Attach the handle to the side of the mug.

-Attach the eyes about seven stitches apart and add white stitching to create pupils. 

-Attach the ears above the eyes on round 20 and attach the antlers just in front.

-Attach whipped cream and stitch in red and green sprinkles.
