Working With Faux Fur Yarn:
-This pattern uses faux fur yarn to create the reindeer fur. Although working with this yarn makes a gorgeous coat, faux fur yarn can be quite tricky to work with as the stitches you make are nearly invisible. Here are a couple tips that may helpful to work with this type of yarn. Firstly, stitch markers are a must. You can even use a couple per rounds if it helps with counting. Secondly, while you can’t see your stitches, you can feel them under the fur. Be sure to feel the yarn to locate the next stitch. Finally, just remember if you cannot see anything, the mistakes cannot be seen either. While this yarn is difficult to work with, it is quite forgiving and it makes for a fun challenge with great results.
Pattern Note:
-This pattern is worked in continuous rounds. There is no need to join with a slip stitch at the end of each round.
